The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced that the Civil Services Exam (CSE) Prelims 2023 will be held on 30 May 2023 in offline mode. The exam will have two papers, with Paper I from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and Paper II from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Paper I will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from General Studies, while Paper II will have 80 MCQs from Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT).

Aspirants will have two hours to attempt all objective questions in each paper. Each question in Paper I will carry two marks, and in Paper II, each question will carry 2.5 marks.
