There will also be some significant changes to the interior. It will get a redesigned dashboard that is more premium than the current version. It also receives an extensive touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other highlights include:

Engine specifications of Maruti Wagon R 7-seater
Under the bonnet is the 1.2-litre petrol engine, which produces 82bhp and 113Nm of torque and is available with a 5-speed manual or AMT.
The company will also offer its companion in this CNG variant, which is less potent than the CNG and will be provided with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Maruti Wagon R 7-seater launches in India
Though the company has not officially announced it, it is expected to be launched in the Indian market by the end of 2023 or early 2024.
Apart from this, Maruti has prepared its fuel in a flex version, which will run on sugarcane juice and not on petrol and diesel. At the same time, its price will be higher than that of the current version in the Indian market.
