Balaram Yojana Details
The Odisha government has Launched the Odisha Balaram Yojana to provide rural credit amounting to Rs 1,040 crore to unemployed landless farmers affected by COVID-19. This plan will benefit around seven lakh landless farmers over the next two years. Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy has directed officials to facilitate agricultural loans for these farmers through Joint Liability Groups (JLGs).
