RRB ASM Vacancy Details 2023

The Railway Recruitment Boards have not yet disclosed the number of vacancies for the Assistant Station Master, as the official notification is still pending. However, eligible and interested candidates should note that according to credible sources, there may be thousands of vacancies in each railway region, potentially totalling around 50,000 vacancies. RRB ASM Eligibility Criteria 2023

The eligibility criteria for the RRB ASM Recruitment 2023 regarding educational qualifications and age limits are outlined below.

Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution, whether it is from a central or state-based one.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 32 years old. Additionally, there will be a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

RRB ASM Application Fee 

Below are the details for the application fee concerning the recruitment of Assistant Station Masters within the Indian Railways:

General category candidates are eligible for a ₹450/ refund of the application fee upon appearing in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) 1. Similarly, SC/ST/Disabled and Ex-servicemen can receive a refund of ₹250/ upon completing CBT 1.

RRB ASM Selection Process

The selection process for the position of Assistant Station Master within the Indian Railways comprises three stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): This initial stage includes a Computer-Based Test that covers subjects such as General Awareness, Arithmetic, and General Intelligence and reasoning.
2. Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Candidates who successfully clear CBT 1 become eligible for the Computer-Based Aptitude Test, which assesses their aptitude for the Assistant Station Manager position.
