Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme
The scheme, which initially offered benefits starting at Rs 50,000, has been gradually increased to Rs 1 lakh over the years. In a recent development, the Telangana government has indicated its intention to provide gold assistance to the girl’s family in addition to the existing Rs 1 lakh. However, this is yet to be officially confirmed.
If you belong to the SC, ST, BC, or EBC categories, you should opt for the Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme or Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam. On the other hand, if you belong to the minority category, irrespective of caste, you should apply for the Shaadi Mubarak Scheme or avail of Shaadi Mubarak services.

The benefits of the Telangana Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme 2024:
The government has earmarked Rs 1 lakh for eligible beneficiaries to help with marriage-related expenses.
This scheme is designed for girls from Telangana’s SC, ST, BC, and EBC communities.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the scheme, applicants must fulfill the following conditions:
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of Telangana.
- The applicant should be a woman aged 18 years or above, while the groom should be 21.
- The applicant should belong to the SC, ST, BC, and EBC categories.
- The applicant’s family income should not exceed Rs 2 lakh; here is the breakdown.
- SC income should be at most Rs.2,00,000/-.
- ST income should be at most Rs.2,00,000/-.
- BC/EBC income consideration: if urban is less than Rs.2,00,000/-, rural is less than Rs.1,50,000/-.

- Document proving the age of the bride.
- Aadhaar card of both the applicant and the groom.

- Follow these steps to ensure a smooth and successful application:
- Visit the official website of Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme 2024 and select the Kalyana Lakshmi Shaadi Mubarak Scheme.
- Click on Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme/Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam Registration.
- The application will open, and fill in the bride’s details and information.
- Provide correct information about the bride’s income, caste details, and permanent and current address details.
- Give correct details of the bride’s mother’s bank account. Select the orphan’s bank account details if the bride is an orphan.
- Enter the groom’s details and address.
- Fill in all the marriage details and upload the necessary documents if required.
- Once all the information has been entered, review your application, enter the captcha code, and click submit to complete your application.
